It looks like a screen door and it behaves like a steel one. The mesh is a structural stainless or high-tensile alloy, woven tight enough to resist cutting and impact, clamped into a welded frame. From inside you see the yard almost as clearly as through an open doorway. From outside it is dark and difficult to see into.

A steel or iron security door uses solid bars or decorative panels, so it blocks part of the view. A security screen door uses structural mesh across the whole opening, so the view stays open. Same protection goal, very different look.
Not the marine-grade stainless, which is exactly why we use it. Cheaper meshes and cheaper fasteners will corrode, particularly near a pool where chlorine sits in the air. This is a place worth spending on.
